It is of great demand to fabricate flexi- ble materials that possess both wearability and prac- tical functions for wearable devices. Silk from Bombyx mori cocoons, a natural pro- tein fiber consisting of 18 amino acids, is consid- ered as an ideal support for wearable electronics be- cause of its softness, high hygroscopicity and superi- or skin affinity3, which fulfill the basic require- ments of wearable devices on comfort and flexibility. However, practical applications of silk as building components of wearable devices are still rare due to its lack of specific functions such as sensing and conductivity.
