Theory Development and Practice of the United Front Since the 18^(th) CPC National Congress

党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的中央领导集体根据新时期党的任务和要求,精准分析社会阶层,把握统一战线新特点,进一步论述了如何处理统一战线中的政党关系、民族关系、宗教关系、阶层关系和海内外同胞关系,丰富和发展了党的统一战线理论。在统一战线工作方面推行了一系列新举措:第一,将统一战线的"法宝"作用推到极致,最大限度地调动一切积极因素;第二,高举两面旗帜,将思想和行动统一到党中央决策部署上来;第三,坚持"十六字方针",提出促进我国政党关系和谐的实践新思维;第四,整合资源,构建大统战工作格局。

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the CPC Central Committee with Mr. Xi Jinping at the core has presented an accurate analysis of the stratification of the Chinese socety, the characteristics of the new United Front, and a further illustration of how to understand and handle the overall relations between the parties, nationalities, religions, social classes, and the compatriots at home and abroad, according to the Party＇s tasks and rides in the new age. This has enriched the theory of the United Front and pro- moted its development. The following new measures have been taken to improve the work ： 1 ） mobilizing all positive factors at the full and maximizing the wonder-working magic of the United Front, 2） holding high the great banners of theories of socialism and pa- triotism and matching our thoughts with our action to implement the decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee, 3） adhe- ring to the ＂Sixteen-character Guideline＂ and putting forward new ideas to promote the harmony between political parties in China, 4） integrating all the available resources to construct a grand pattern for the United Front work.
