超越“经学”“国学”的“古典学”新境

A New Realm of “Classics” Beyond the “Confucius Classics” and “Studies of Chinese Ancient Civilization”

倡言建立"中西合璧"的"中国古典学",其目的是为了让更多的人文社科研究者摒弃过多的本土情结和感情色彩,做到学术研究上的价值中立和理性判断,以便更好地到寻找到实现现代政治、经济、文化的转型的有效途径。"古典学"作为一门新型学科的确为我们扬弃古文经学和今文经学的历史局限、平等对待"经学"和"子学""中学"和"西学"提供了很好的契机,如此即不会陷入"中学为体"的拘囿,也不会步"西学为用"的后尘而再遭"牛体马用"之戏谑。如今,随着世界全球化进程的不断加快,亟需我们以大气谦和的姿态吸收中西文化的优长,尽可能地使华夏文明"走出亚洲""走向世界",并与基督教文化、伊斯兰文化、印度教文化等域外文化相互补充、和谐共生。惟其如此,和谐文明才得以构建、和谐世界才得以存焉。

The advocate for establishing the ＂Chinese classics＂ of the Sino-Western combination aims to help more researchers in humanities and social sciences abandon their native complex and emotions, and realize the neutrality of value and rational judgment in their academic research so as to better find out the effective way to a- chieve the transformation of modern politics, economy and culture. The ＂study of classics＂ as a new discipline does provide a good opportunity to abandon the historical limitations of classical learning based on earlier texts and that based on modern texts, equally treating the ＂study of Confucius classics＂ and ＂ study of other schools of classics＂ as well as ＂Chinese learning＂ and ＂Western learning＂. This can not only break through the limitation of ＂Chinese learning for fundamental principles＂ but avoid following the footsteps of ＂Western learning for prac- tical applications＂ so as not to suffer from the banter of ＂mixing fundamental principles and practical applica- tions＂ as well. With the speeding up of globalization, it is necessary to inclusively absorb the merits of the Chinese and Western cultures, facilitating Chinese civilization to ＂walk out of Asia and towards the world＂ while mutually complementing and harmoniously coexisting with such alien cultures as Christian culture, Islamic cul- ture and Hindu culture. Only by this can a harmonious civilization be constructed and a harmonious world exist.
