工程教育专业认证理念下的机械工程类专业建设——以湘潭大学为例

On the Professional Certification-oriented Specialty Construction for Major of Mechanical Engineering

日益激烈的国际竞争趋势是知识经济全球化背景下各国工程技术人员的机遇和挑战,工程教育专业认证不仅是国际工程教育发展趋势,更是我国高校工科专业促进专业建设、提高工程技术人才培养质量的重要契机。本文从当前机械设计制造及自动化专业的工程教育现状出发,以工程教育专业认证的认证标准和基本理念为主线,确定专业的培养目标,明确培养目标与毕业要求之间的支撑关系,构建满足认证标准要求的课程体系,通过不断地持续改进加强专业建设,促进专业人才培养质量的提高。

Within the context of the globalization of knowledge economy, the increasingly fierce international competition trend turns to be the opportunity and challenge for engineers and technicians in the world. The certification of engineering education is not only the development trend of international engineering education, but also the critical opportunity to promote professional construction, as well as to improve the quality of engineering and technical personnel training for engineering specialty in China. Aiming at the current status of engineering education in the field of mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, this paper focuses on the certification standards and the basic concepts of engineering education certification, the professional training objectives was defined, the supportive relationship between training objectives and graduation requirements was clarified, the curriculum system which meets requirements of certification standards was established. The specialty construction was strengthened by means of continual improvement, which results to the improvement of professional training quality
