Decoding the Final Decision of Viktor Petrovich Astafyev from the Comparison between Different Endings in Migrating Goose

维·阿斯塔菲耶夫创作短篇小说《迁徙的大雁》时,先后写了三个不同版本的结尾。本文从作家的创作背景、文本构建等角度分析,阐述作家放弃前两种结尾的原因,即遵从文学的美学功能,存留文本的多义性,为读者保留更大的解读空间。

Viktor Petrovich Astafyev had written three different endings in the short novel Migrating Goose. This paper is going to explain the reasons that the author abandoned the first two versions involving in following the aesthetic function of literature, retaining the ambi- guity of the text, leaving more immigrated space to the readers from the perspective of author＇ s background, illustration of the text.
