This paper introduced the concept of weighted average and the weighted calculation of proximate analysis of coal, calorific value, sulfur and hydrogen of coal, the conversion calculation of different ground states were demonstrated as well, it was indicated that the coal ash ratio should be used to do the weighted calculation, and through letting the coal weight converted to ash weight, the weighted average of coal ash fusibility and coal ash composition could be obtained.
