快递企业TNT与铁路公司合作相关研究

On Cooperation Between TNT and Railway Companies

从铁路运输低碳环保特性、快递业迅猛发展现状和欧盟相关法律政策的颁布3个方面分析快递企业TNT与铁路公司合作开展快件运输的背景;通过对TNT与铁路公司在欧洲和伦敦开展的2个合作案例进行分析,总结二者成功合作的基础为货场的合理化建设、高性能货运车辆的选择以及铁路运输产品的灵活设计。提出TNT与铁路合作不仅能够充分发挥多式联运优势,营造互利共赢的市场环境,还能有效解决城市拥堵等问题。在此基础上得出启示:在快递企业与铁路公司合作中,应共同设计研发配套设施,使用高速度大容量的货物列车,并充分利用货场的地理优势。

This paper analyzes the background of cooperation of the express company TNT and railway companies in three aspects： the low-carbon ＆ environmentally friendly characteristics of railway transport, the rapid development of express industry and the promulgation of relevant EU laws and policies. With a study of two cases of cooperation between TNT and railway companies on the European continent and in London, this paper finds that the basis of successful cooperation is the reasonable construction of goods yards, high- performance freight transport vehicles and the flexible design of railway transport products and puts forward that the cooperation between TNT and the railway not only gives full play to the edges of multimodal transport and creates a mutually beneficial market environment, but also offers an effective solution to urban congestion and other issues. On the basis of this, the paper draws the conclusion that in the cooperation between express enterprises and railway companies, both parties should jointly design the R＆D supporting facilities, use high- speed and large-capacity freight trains, and make full use of the geographical advantages of freight yards.
