Effect of cognitive behavioral nursing intervention on quality of life in patients with neurogenic bladder

Objective To investigate the influence of cognitive behavioral nursing intervention on the quality of life in the patients with neurogenic bladder. Methods Sixty eases of neurogenic bladder in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were randomly divided into the observation group and control group according to the random number table method, 30 cases in each group. The control group were given the conventional treatment of clean intermittent catheterization and the theoretical knowledge education, and on this basis the observation group was given the cognitive behavioral intervention. The compliance, ac- tivity ability of daily living and life quality score after 30 d were observed in the two groups. Results The compliance and activity ability of daily living after 30 d intervention in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant （P〈0.05） ; the various aspects scores of living quality after intervention in the observation group were higher than those in the control group （P〈0.05）. Conclusion Conducting the cognitive behavioral intervention in the patients with neurogenic b]adder can significantly improve the patient＇ s compliance and decreases the occurrence rate of complication.
