Present Situation and Relevant Countermeasures of Vietnam's Publishing Industry

越南出版单位多年来都努力不懈地落实着各项政治任务,逐步提高出版物质量,以更好地满足读者的需求。然而,近年来越南出版活动中仍存在一些问题。现代化、专业化和社会化三项任务仍未得到有效落实。其基本原因是出版工作人员对出版工作的价值、作用以及对自身的责任与职业道德问题认知不够深刻。

Vietnam＇s publishing institutions has made great efforts to implement various political tasks for many years, and improved the publications＇ quality gradually in order to meet the readers＇ need better. However, there are still some problems in Vietnam＇s publishing activities in recent years. The three tasks of modernization, specialization and socialization have not yet been implemented effectively. The basic reason is that the publishing staff haven＇t recognized profoundly the publishing value, function and their own responsibility and professional ethics.
