“The World Belonging to All”:The Socialist Genes in Chinese Ideological Cultures

在八届六中全会后期,毛泽东写下了《张鲁传》的两个批语,这对于我们重新认识社会主义思想史十分重要,"公"的思想和天下为公的理念可以被视为中国社会主义思想产生的标志。中国的社会主义不是完全外来的,马克思主义中国化是马克思主义和中国文化共同开创新局面,而天下为公是二者的中介性思想。近代以来,中国共产党人继承并发展了孙中山的天下为公思想,而在改革开放新时期,以习近平为核心的党中央进一步发展了天下为公思想。

In later part of The 6th Plenary Session of the 8th Central Committeeof the CPC, Mao Zedong wrote two critical lines for The Biography of Zhang Lu, which plays a significant role in reshaping the ideological history of socialism. The idea of 'equality' and the perception of 'The World Belonging to All' could be regarded as the symbol of the birth of socialism in China.China's socialism is never totally imported. The localization of Marxism with Chinese characteristics suggests a new phase under the co-contribution of Marxism and Chinese cultures, while'The World Belonging to All' acted as their intermediary ideology. CPC inherited and carried forward Sun Yat-sen's idea of 'The World Belonging to All' in its modern history. And the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core enriched the idea in the new erasince the reform and opening up.
