浅析《了不起的盖茨比》中的生态坍塌

Brief Analysis on the Ecological Collapse in The Great Gatsby

随着生态批评学说的兴起,学者们纷纷从纯粹的文学文本分析与批评中走出来,开始从生态的角度重新审视文学作品。应用生态批评理论,从生态视角对菲茨杰拉德的《了不起的盖茨比》进行解读,通过对作品的自然生态、社会生态、精神生态的分析,认为作品叙写了一战之后美国的生态危机,揭示了"爵士时代"的生态坍塌。

With the increasingly developing of eco-criticism theory, scholars are not confined to the pure text analysis or criticism on literature and begin to take a new look at literature works from the perspective of ecology. This paper applies the eco-critieism theory to interpret The Great Gatsby from a new angle of view. Through the analysis of the natural ecology, social ecology and spiritual ecology of the works, the author thinks that the ecological crisis of the United States after the First World War reveals the ecological collapse of the ＂Jazz Age＂.
