论专业班主任在地方本科高校班级管理中的作用

Discussion on the Role of Professional Class Teachers in Class Management of Local Universities

1999年大学扩招以来许多专科院校晋升为本科院校,其中多为地方性院校。这些新晋地方本科院校在办学经费和办学设备等硬件方面与老牌省部级高校相比有较大差距。通过有效的学生管理提高人才培养水平是这类院校能够在短期内取得成效的重点工作之一。文章结合既有办学经验,围绕"地方本科高校如何通过学生管理模式改革,促进人才培养水平提高"这一命题进行探讨,提出本科班级管理中在政治辅导员之外宜设置"专业班主任"的观点。文章首先介绍了国内外学生事务管理体系的发展过程及现状,然后探究了当前地方本科高校学生管理中存在的一些问题,并结合实例详细阐述了本科班级管理中设置专业班主任的意义、功能和作用,最后对未来专业班主任及学生管理模式的研究和发展趋势进行了展望。

With the enrollment expansion of Chinese universities since 1999, many local colleges have developed into undergraduate universities. There is a big difference in funds and equipment between these new local undergrad- uate universities and old provincial universities. It is one of the work focuses to improve the personnel training level through effective student management for this kind of universities to achieve good results in short term. According to existing experience, this paper explores how these local undergraduate universities promote personnel training level through reform on students＂ management modes and proposes the idea that professional head teacher should be set besides political＇ instructor in the undergraduate class management. This paper firstly introduces the development pro- cess and current situation of the student affairs management system at home and abroad, and then discusses the problems exist in current student management of local undergraduate universities in China, expounds the significance, function and effect of setting up a professional head teacher in the undergraduate class management in detail com- bined with real cases, and finally expects the research and development trend of professional head teacher system and student management mode in the future.
