大学英语教育改革的目的与理念分析

在全球化不断渗透的时代背景下,英语的国际地位日益凸显,英语作为我国第一大外语,是各个教育阶段重点授课的学科。以往英语教育多以掌握基本知识为授课目的,教师关注的是学生听、说、读、写的能力,但是随着当前就业形势的严峻,英语已经成为提高就业竞争力的有力技能。为了培养学生英语口语交际能力,创新英语学习新思想,许多高校不断转变教育理念,从当前国情出发进行大学英语教育改革,希望能为社会培养出新型的理论与实践技能都丰富的英语人才。

Under the background of globalization, the international status of English is becoming more and more prominent. As the first foreign language in China, English is a subject that is taught in every stage of education. The goal of previous English education is to master the basic knowledge, and teachers focus on students＇ listening, speak- ing, reading and writing ability. However, with severe employment situation at present, English has become a powerful skill, which can improve employment competitiveness. In order to cultivate students＂ English communicative ability and innovate English learning ideas, many colleges change the education idea and carry out education reform from current situation, hoping to cultivate a great many of English talents with theory basis and practice skills for the society.
