Social identity is one of the important factors that affect the status of micro-blog opinion leaders. This article collects the data and compares their growth stage of celebrities and grass-roots two kinds of micro-blog opinion leaders with different social identity. Celebrity seed stage initial energy is large, but the burgeoning growth acceleration is small, and celebrities and grassroots are all require special events to ripen as opinion leaders. In addition, after being opinion leaders, both still need to do a good job to consolidate their status.
