The installation of gas detectors in sealed rooms of petrochemical plant＇ requires not only the identification of sources releasing flammable or toxic gas, it also puts the safety of operating personnel and facilities into consideration. By means of integrating field experience and norm interpretation, this paper puts forward some proposal for discussion in terms of the installation of gas detectors in sealed room of petrochemical plant.
