摘要
诠释《大学》是新儒家架构义理的重要方式,也是唐君毅诠释经典的组成部分。唐君毅认为《大学》的主要贡献是以相涵相贯方式呈现了"明明德于天下"的道理,在义理上发展了《孟子》心性之学,是异于荀学的。他笃信内圣必能外王,认为以天下一家为怀抱,可以与世界哲学、文化等展开交流。他还提出了重订《大学》,并认为见闻之知从知识谱系上可以联通科学,"格物"是儒学会通西学的重要切入点。
The interpretation of The Great Learning is an important way of constructing neo - Confucianism theories, and it is also an integral part of TANG Junyi' s interpretation of classics. TANG Junyi thinks that the main contribution of The Great Learning is to fully demonstrate the principle of "illustrating illustrious virtue to the world", and develop Mencius' mind in argumentation, which is different from Xunzi' s theory. He believed the inner saint can be outside, the idea of "all under heaven are one family" can help people to exchange with world philosophy and culture. He also proposed to revise The Great Learning, and thought that the knowledge one sees and hears can be connected to science, "the investigation of things" is an im- portant starting point of studying Confucianism with western theories.
