纤维艺术,源于编织艺术,因人类社会早期“男耕女织”的社会分工,使编织艺术更容易与女性联系在一起。被誉为“中国第一代现代纤维艺术家”的施慧,在她的作品中展现了纤维独特的质感和美,充满了朴素与诗意。而作品中时而流露出的女性气质也让施慧的作品增添了不同的气质。本期《当代美术家》,就施慧个人的艺术与中国女性艺术生态,展开了讨论。
Fabric art originated from weaving art. Because of the social division--"Men plough and women weave" in the early phase of human society, weaving art tend to be connected with female. Shi Hui, who is known as "the first modem fabric artist in China", demonstrates the unique texture and beauty of fabric, which is simple and poetic as well.
