如何以当代语境言说孔子,如何以孔子文本讲述世界,这是21世纪中国的学者和各国研究中国的学者要共同面对的时代命题。笔者将这种不同于朱熹之前天下孔子的时代命题称之为"孔子的世界,世界的孔子",并将这一命题归结为当代中国的文化复兴与思想启蒙,汇入人类命运共同体时代的宏大叙事,且视为当代学者的一项具有宿命意味的孔子式使命。

How to tell about Confucius in modem world and how to tell about the world based on Confucius＇ texts are the common topic of the times that faces both the Chinese scholars and the scholars from countries around the world who make studies on China. The author calls ＂Confucius＇ world and the world＇s Confucius＂ this kind of topic that is different from that of Confucius before Zhu Xi, classifies it as Chinese cultural revival and thought enlightenment, merges it into grand narrative in the era of the community of human destiny and considers it as a fatalist Confuciusstyle mission of contemporary scholars.
