素质教育要再出发

Suzhi Education Should Start Again

改革开放以来,素质教育始终贯穿于我国教育大政方针和教育改革发展的实践中,成为公认的最具中国特色的教育思想和教育话语。目前,我国高等教育发展取得了前所未有的成就,但有些方面的改革探索还没有触及根本,要用进一步加强素质教育的办法来解决。面向教育现代化,素质教育要再出发。需从四方面加强相应的工作:着眼于提高思想道德素质,认真落实全国高校思想政治工作会议精神;着眼于提高文化素质和专业素质,以提高学生社会责任感、创新精神和实践能力为重点,建立通识教育和专业教育相结合的培养制度;着眼于提高身体心理素质,更加重视体育和美育;着眼于提高素质教育水平,要充分利用现代信息技术成果,共享优质教育资源。

Since the reform and opening up, Suzhi Education has run through the fundamental policy of educational reform and the practice of education development in China, and has been recognized as the educational thought and discourse with the most Chinese characteristics. At present, the development of higher education in China has made unprecedented achievements, but some aspects of reform has not yet touched the fundamental which need to strengthen Suzhi Education further to solve the problem. Facing the modernization of education, Suzhi Education should start again. We need to strengthen the work from four aspects： improving ideological and moral quality, implementing the spirit of the National Conference on Ideological and political work in colleges and universities conscientiously; keep to improve cultural quality and professional quality in mind, and focus on enhancing the sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability of students,establishing the integrated training system of general education and professional education; focus on improving physical and psychological quality, paying more attention to physical education and aesthetic education; focus on improving the level of Suzhi Education, making full use of the achievements of modern information technology and sharing high-quality educational resources.
