以人为本是师德建设的指导思想和基本要求。以人为本就是要充分发挥学生的主体性作用,真正实现其全面发展。教师应在不断加强自身师德建设的基础上,探索教育教学的新模式和新方法,更新观念,突出学生的主体性地位,努力建立和谐民主的师生关系。

Humanism is the guiding concept and basic requirement of the new era to build up teachers＇ morality. It emphasizes the role of the student so as to let the students realize their full development. While teachers should continually strengthen their morals and ethics, and then explore the new ways and methods of academics, renewing their educational concepts and thoughts, highlighting the subjectivity of the student, and strive to establish a harmonious and democratic relationship between teachers and students.
