民间文献与潮汕华侨史研究

On the Relationship between Folk Documents and the Study of the History of Chaoshan's Overseas Chinese

族谱、碑刻、民间文书等民间文献对潮汕华侨华人史研究具有十分重要的价值。族谱在研究华侨出国时间、路线、海外分布以及侨乡具体形成、华侨移民情况、华侨对海内外的影响等方面具有官方文献所没有的价值;碑刻对于梳理、解读潮汕华侨政治史、思想史、经济史都具有原生态作用;契约和账簿能够很好地解读出华侨之间、华侨与原乡人之间的各种经济关系,日用类文书或家礼本对于研究华侨和家乡的联系承担着极大的功能,宗教科仪书对于探究华侨的宗教生活与中华文化的传承有着重要的作用。超越以往区域华侨史研究"宏大叙事"模式,放下身段进入历史现场,去搜集、整理丰富的民间文献,扎实做好微观研究,有利于潮汕华侨史研究的深入。

Folk documents, such as Genealogy, inscriptions, folk instruments etc, are of great significance to the study of the history of Chaoshan＇s Overseas Chinese. Genealogy is of great value of which official documents are lack in studying the time and route Chaoshan＇s Overseas Chinese went abroad, distribution and influence of Chaoshan＇s Overseas Chinese. Inscriptions are important for studying the political, ideological and economic history of Chaoshan＇s Overseas Chinese. Contracts and accounts can well interpret the various economic relations of overseas Chinese. Daily documents or family rites bear a great function in studying the link of overseas Chinese and the home. The religious ritual book has an important role in exploring the religious life of overseas Chinese and the inheritance of Chinese culture. Collection and study of the rich folk literature is beneficial to further research of the history of Chaoshan＇s Overseas Chinese.
