文科教授是知识、文化的传播者、创造者,他们是大学繁荣的中流砥柱;教授应是"四有教师",其科研、教学均应高水准。好学上进,固守学术本位,做高品质的学术研究,为文化发展和社会进步不断地献策献力是教授的职业与要务;教授所思、所做、所成当有利于国人现代化,有利于维护教授美名与大学声誉。教授是文化昌盛、文化化人、美丽中国的主角,师德高尚、认真育人,慧民、裕民,为百姓更幸福的生活立言立论是教授之正统与正道。

Professors of liberal arts are disseminator and creator of knowledge and culture, the mainstay of the university prosperity. They should be “ four-haves” teachers and keep high levels of sci-entific research and teaching. The main responsibilities include sticking to the academic standard andacademic quality, and making suggestions on culture development and social prosperity. What the pro-fessors think or do are helpful for Chinese modernization and protecting the reputation of professor anduniversity. In a word, professors are protagonists of cultural prosperity, civilization and beautiful China. The orthodox and the right way of professor should be earnest in education and propose for benefiting citizen.
