It was introduced the basic principle of membrane distillation and its character and merit,and described the membrane distillation technology process that it included DCMD,AGMD,SGMD,VMD,AMD,and new membrane distillation technology processes UFMD,BMD,ABMD,MEMD,HP-VMEMD. Also it was evaluated the new membrane distillation technology processes.It was introduced the merit and problem resolved of the new MD processes compared to the old ones. It summarized the MD technology,which expected researching and developing new MD technologies of different product.
