摘要
认知方式是影响语言学习的一个重要因素。通过一项以吉首大学452名大学生为样本的调查,重点分析学习者的认知方式(场依存/场独立)与用汉语和英语处理不同层次书面话语的结果之间的关系。调查结果表明,场依存和场独立学生间汉语和英语阅读理解能力存在明显差异,而且在不同性别、专业和学术水平组别间的认知方式也有明显差别。
Cognitive styles play an important role in influencing learners' language learning.The survey takes a sample of 452 voluntary undergraduate college students from Jishou University,focusing on analyzing the relationship between readers' cognitive styles(field-dependent/independent)and their performance at different levels of written discourse processing in Chinese(L1)and in English(L2).The results show significant differences in reading comprehension both in L1 and L2between field dependent and independent students,as well as significant differences in cognitive styles between groups defined by gender,field of study,and academic level.
