摘要
以非英语专业大学一年级学生为受试,考察了在阅读过程中,学习者对文本中的语块有没有关注以及 外围注意的特点,主要发现有:1.从总体上看,在阅读过程中二语学习者语块外围注意的水平偏低;2.在阅读过 程中,完成信息匹配题与语块外围注意之间出现明显的竞争关系;3.不同频率语块之间呈现高频语块的外围注意 水平 〈 中频语块外围注意水平 〈低频语块外围注意水平的趋势.本研究结果对二语习得和英语语块教学均有启示作用.
Taking freshmen of non-English majors as subjects, this study explores whether the L2 learners notice the chunks in the text and whether there are some characteristics of the peripheral attention. The findings show that 1) L2 learners’ peripheral attention on chunks in reading is generally inefficient; 2) the conflict arises between taking long reading-matching- item and paying peripheral attention on chunks in reading; 3) there is a trend for the peripheral attention of different types of chunk frequency -the level of the peripheral attention of high-frequency chunks is lower than that of the peripheral attention of mid-frequency chunks and the level of the mid-frequency chunks is lower than that of the peripheral attention of low-frequency chunks. The findings contain some implications for second language acquisition and the instruction of English chunks.
