新南社中坚力量的构成相对简单,主要继承了南社的人脉,由一批栖身于上海《民国日报》或上海大学并且参与国共两党的江浙文人构成。人们因南社、同事、同道等关系聚集在一起,但因为缺乏一致的新文化或新文学主张、对政治的侧重以及缺乏实绩与特色而最终解散。

The composition of Neo - Nanshe was relatively simple with its inheritance to Nanshe＇ s social connections, which consisted mainly of both Communist and Nationalist literati in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces, most of whom were with Republic China Daily in Shanghai or Shanghai University. They gathered together for the sake of various social relationships, such as Nan-she, colleagues and literary friends. Besides their divided political focus, they finally broke up for lack of unanimous cultural and literary principles, genuine literary achievements and unique features.
