A Research on Population Quality and Basic National Policy

通过人口数量与人口素质对经济发展的影响的分析,阐述经济增长主要依靠人口质量。只有继续坚持计划生育的基本国策,控制人口数量,才能推动我国人力资本增加,带动科技发展,实现生态平衡、环境优美,利用现有的充足资金和发展机会迎接产业升级和可持续发展的经济发展方式。

Based on an analysis to the influence of population size and quality in economic development, this paper holds that e-conomic growth depends on population quality. Only through continual adherence to family planning policy and population control can we promote human capital increase in China, which in turn drives the development of science and technology, as well as the realization of ecological balance and environmental beautification. Full use of current adequate funding and development opportu-nities brings about industrial upgrading and sustainable economic development.
