摘要
美国翻译理论家Nida和Larson各自提出了翻译中的信息传递模式,Nida模式较重视表层结构研究,而Larson模式较重视深层结构研究,如何结合两者优点实现源语和译语在语义和文体信息上的对等传递,值得探讨。通过对电子商务英语词汇和句式特征进行分析,指出电子商务英语翻译只有掌握其语言特点,才能达到忠实性、地道性和一致性。为了实现语义信息的对等传递,基于奈达动态对等功能理论提出了电子商务英语翻译中四种语义信息传递模式(契合式、平行式、冲突式、借代式);为了实现文体信息的对等传递,基于平行结构理论提出名词短语三种扩展性形式(分层递进式、意群组合式、平行排列式)。电子商务英语翻译时,这些语义信息传递模式和名词短语扩展性形式在实现语义和文体信息对等传递中都有其实践运用价值。
Both Eugene A. Nida and Mildred L. Larson have suggested their information transmission modes respectively ; Nida emphasizes the surface structure while Larson focuses on the deep structure. It might be worthwhile to probe into how to combine the merits of the two modes with an aim to acquire the semantic and stylistic equivalence between the SL and the TL. Through analysing the features of vocabulary and sentence structure, the author suggests that it be necessary to have a basic understanding of the linguistic features in the translation of e-business English with an aim to translate faithfully, idiomatically and consistently. Based on Nida ’ s theory of dynamic or functional equivalence, four information transmission modes in translation of e-business English are suggested, including correspondence, parallel, confliction and substitution; Founded on the theory of parallel structure, three types of expanded noun pre - modifiers ( ENP) are presented, including graded progress, meaning section combination and parallel arrangement, either the information transmission modes or the types of ENP are of practical value in acquiring the semantic and stylistic equivalence in translation of e-business English.
