Research progress on methionine requirement for laying hens

蛋氨酸是必需氨基酸中唯一的含硫氨基酸,参与并调控体内的关键代谢途径,在机体的生命活动中发挥着重要作用。蛋氨酸也是饲喂玉米-豆粕型饲粮蛋鸡的第一限制性氨基酸,对蛋雏鸡的生长发育和蛋鸡的产蛋性能有至关重要的影响。家禽饲粮中科学地添加蛋氨酸可提高生产性能和降低饲料成本,过量的蛋氨酸可能会引起生长抑制。本文主要介绍了蛋氨酸对蛋鸡生产性能的影响和蛋鸡不同生长阶段蛋氨酸需要量的研究进展,旨在为蛋鸡生产实践中饲粮的合理配制与科学饲养提供参考。

In the essential amino acids,methionine（Met） is the only amino acid which contains sulfur.Met takes part in the key metabolic pathway and plays a significant role in maintaining the physiological activity of organisms.As the first limiting amino acid in corn soybean meal diet of laying hens,Met has crucial impact on the growth and development of egg pul lets as well as the production performance of the layers.Scientific supplementation with methionine in diets can improve the production performance and reduce the cost of feed of hens,but excess methionine may cause growth depression.This paper mainly introduced the effects of methionine on production performance and the methionine requirement of egg chickens,in order to provide some useful references for formulating the diet of hens and feeding guides for egg production in practice.
