Modern Transformation of “Wenzhounese's Spirit”

传统"温州人精神"已不能满足时代变化发展的要求,在新时代下应形塑"温州人精神"现代品格。现代"温州人精神"应正视商品意识,实现人文复归;反思客体经济,超越狭隘观念,将人与社会的发展当作新时期赋予的使命;客观看待草根精神,在公共社会中谋求发展共享的精神象征形式。

Traditional “Wenzhounese’s spirit” cannot meet the needs of social development any more. In the new era, it should be reconstructed with modem characteristics. Modem “Wenzhounese’s spirit” should inspire Wenzhounese to cultivate commodity consciousness and advocate the restoration of humanity; require them to reflect on the economic development, abandon narrow ideology and take human and social development as a mission of the new era; and lead them to view grassroots spirit objectively and share the development of public society.
