On the Forming and Evolution of the Party's Mass Line

党的群众路线经历了一个产生与演进的过程,呈现出不断发展和与时俱进的态势。在党的创立和大革命时期,党初步形成了群众观点和群众意识,提出了一些零碎而粗浅的工作方法。在革命战争年代,党不仅提出了"群众路线"的概念,对其进行了全面深刻的阐述,而且将其确定为党的三大作风之一,使群众路线发展为比较完整的理论形态。新中国成立后,党对群众路线作出了完整规范的表述,对群众观作出新的概括,提出了一系列贯彻群众路线的新方法,使群众路线上升到成熟而科学的理论形态。

The Party＇s mass line experienced a process of forming and evolution,presenting a trend of continuous development and marching forward with the times. During the Party＇s creation and the Great Revolution period,the Party primarily formed the mass view and the mass consciousness,and brought forward some fragmentary,primitive working methods. During the revolutionary war,the Party not only brought forward the concept of＂mass line＂and elaborated it comprehensively and profoundly,but also defined it as one of the three styles of the Party,endowing it with a relatively complete theoretical form. After the new China was established,the Party worked out a complete,normative formulation of mass line and a new generalization of mass view,and brought forward a series of new methods for carrying through the mass line,thus updating the mass line to a mature,scientific theory.
