东坡西湖是一种长期存在而缺乏命名的文化实存,这一称名可能解蔽经由苏轼与西湖相互书写而成的历史文化现象。西湖为苏轼提供了诗意栖居的江山之助,而苏轼之于西湖的生存书写亦成就了西湖的盛名。其中,苏轼有关许、杭、颍、惠等西湖的诗文书写,构成了东坡西湖的意象谱系;苏轼在徐、杭、颍、惠等地抗洪、渫井、浚湖的行为书写,构成了东坡西湖的理水德迹。

Dongpo West Lake, a new name for a long standing cultural existence without naming, may reveal the historic cultural phenomenon mutually written by Su Shi and the West Lake. The West Lake bestowed the inspi-ration of landscape upon Su Shi, while the existential writing by Su Shi vested the West Lake with great reputation in return. Among which, Su Shi, s literature writings about the West Lake in Xuzhou, Hangzhou, Yingzhou and Huizhou make up the image genealogy of Dongpo West Lake; his behavior writings of combating the flood, dredging the wells, and dredging the lakes make up the water control achievement of Dongpo West Lake.
