Screening and cheap culturing of strains producing microbial flocculants from sludge

摘要 微生物絮凝剂具有安全高效的特点,具有巨大应用潜力.为开发更多微生物絮凝剂,本研究从活性污泥中分离纯化高效絮凝剂产生菌株,初步确定其活性成分分布,并探讨利用糖蜜废液对其廉价培养的可行性.研究结果表明,16株能产生微生物絮凝剂的菌株中,呈革兰氏阴性的Y3和S1菌株的微生物絮凝特性最好,对高岭土悬浊液絮凝率分别达到98.9%和99.5%,其絮凝有效成分多为细胞外产物.稀释20倍、40倍和60倍的废糖蜜中菌株Y3和S1均可生长,在稀释40倍的废糖蜜中两种菌生长量均最大,且在废糖蜜中均保持了絮凝特性,表明糖蜜废液可用于Y3和S1菌株的廉价培养. As microbial flocculant is safe and efficient, it has an extensive development and application potentiality. To find more microbial flocculant, this research screened strains producing microbial flocculants from sludge, explored the distribution of the active ingredient, and discussed the feasibility of using molasses wastewater as its cheap nutrient medium. The results showed that two gram-negative strains, named Y3 and S1 had the highest flocculating activity among the 16 strains isolated, and the flocculating rate of Y3 and S1 reached 98.9% and 99.5% respectively when using their fermentation liquid to treat kaoline soliquoid. Moreover, the flocculation effective components of the two strains were both extracellular products. Y3 and S1 both could grow in the 20, 40 and 60 times diluted molasses, and the growth of the two bacteria were best in 40 times diluted molasses growth were the biggest. Furthermore, the flocculation characteristics of the two strains both maintained in diluted molasses. The results suggested that molasses waste liquids can be served as cheap culture medium for the propagation of Y3 and S1.
