历史文化资源是城市发展资源的重要组成部分,物理性的城市历史文化资源利用应结合其在城市中的区位,与城市发展的需求和方向结合在一起,同时也不排斥某些历史文化资源由于特别适合于某种用途而决定其所在地段的功能发展方向。由于城市历史文化环境本身就是与城市的现代空间镶嵌在一起的整体城市空间的一部分,所以城市历史文化资源只有与城市发展的空间布局相结合,才能真正有效地加以利用。
