An Analysis of Ten Major Events of China’s Higher Education in 2016:Academic Salon of “Annual Inventory of Higher Education Events”

2016年中国高等教育领域发生了十大事件：全国高校思想工作会议召开,全面提升育人水平;强调高等教育四个＂回归＂,积极推进＂双一流＂建设;《中国高等教育质量报告》发布,高等教育实现跨越式发展;加入《华盛顿协议》,推动工程教育走向世界;深化教育教学改革,提高人才培养质量;动态调整高校学位授权,优化学科专业结构;实施＂一带一路＂教育行动计划,推进教育国际合作;高校科研资金管理新政出台,促进创新驱动发展;《中国学生发展核心素养》公布,素质教育更加切实可行;高考招生计划调整,再次触及教育公平。本文梳理了这十大事件,作者以学者身份主持讨论和点评,讨论者从不同角度对各大事件进行多元化的评析,从而多维度地呈现了2016年中国高等教育的前沿动态,回顾与思考了我国高等教育改革与发展的轨迹。

This paper reviews ten major events of China＇s higher education in 2016.These events include：the ideological and political thought meeting in China to enhance the level of higher education,four returns of higher education to promote＂the Double First-class＂construction,the＂National Report＂on the quality of education showing the great development of higher education,joining in the Washington Agreement indicting the internalization of engineering education,deepening the reform of education and teaching to improve the quality of talents training,adjusting dynamically the degree authorization to optimize the discipline structures,＂The Belt and Road＂plan to promote the international cooperation in higher education,new research management in colleges and universities to promote innovation driven development,release of students＇ key competence index to promote the reform of teaching in colleges and universities,and adjusting the college enrollment to touch fair education once again.This paper analyzes the major events from different angles,presents the dynamic trends of China＇s higher education in 2016,and reviews and reflects the reform and development of higher education in China.
