Ancient doctors' understanding of skin diseases in Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases

古代医家对《伤寒杂病论》所论述皮肤病之范畴进行了不同的阐释,包括条文意义、病因、诊断、治则、治法等。病因的论述以六气为主,包括风、寒、热、湿邪及虫毒、虚证等病因。对治法的认识包括汗法、清法、下法、和法、吐法、外治法等,提出了治疗皮肤病的原则。汗法应为微汗之法,适当"发汗",导邪外出。热毒所致伤寒发斑使用清法,清其体内的热毒。皮肤病由于阳明胃热,可以采用下法。亦可采用和法、吐法、外治法进行治疗。

The Chinese ancient doctors discussed skin diseases those were included in Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases, involving meaning of items, etiology, diagnoses, rules of treatment, therapy, etc. The etiology of the disease is mainly six gas, including wind, cold, heat, dampness and insect toxin, deficiency and other causes. The treatment method includes diaphoresis, heat-clearing method, purgation, harmonization method, emetic therapy, external therapy and so on.They have also raised treatment principles of skin diseases. Slight sweating method can drive away evils. Skin diseases caused by heat evil can use heat-clearing method clearing away heat and toxic material. Skin diseases of Foot-Yangming meridians stomach-heat syndrome can use purgation. Skin diseases also can use harmonization, emetic and external therapy.
