高等师范院校非英语专业学生英语课外阅读情况的调查与研究

A Survey of the Extra-curricular Reading of the Non-English majors in Normal University

通过问卷和面谈,调查了高等师范院校非英语专业学生的英语课外阅读现状,分析了学生在课外阅读时间、阅读材料的选择、阅读目的及阅读方法等方面的现状,以及学生在阅读中存在的问题。提出应加强对非英语专业学生课外阅读的指导和督促,激发学生的阅读兴趣,培养学生的自主学习能力,调动学生课外阅读的积极性和主动性。

The paper studies, through interview and questionnaire, the extra--curricular reading of the non--English majors in relation to the time, option, purpose, and methods. Problems are discussed, and strategies offered to improve the autonomous learning and enthusiasm of the students.
