Research progress of epidemiology and etiology of pig streptococcus disease

猪链球菌病是由猪链球菌(SS)侵入机体引起的一种人兽共患急性热性传染病。人SS可引起败血症、脑膜炎、心内膜炎、关节炎、肺炎及中毒性休克综合征。SS是引起人细菌性脑膜炎最常见的动物源性病原体之一。该文通过病原学、流行病学、防控技术3方面进行阐述,以引起大家关注猪链球菌病所带来的公共卫生问题与挑战。

The pig streptococcus disease is a acute fever transmitted diseases in a range of animal species and human beings induced by streptococcus suis（SS） invades the body. The human SS can cause sepsis,meningitis,endocarditis,arthritis,pneumonia and toxic shock syndrome. SS is one of the most common animal pathogens which caused bacterial meningitis. In this paper,the three aspects of etiology,epidemiology and prevention and control technology are elaborated to cause the attention of the public health problems and challenges brought by pig streptococcus disease.
