Nanking massacre is a heavy and sad page in Chinese Modern History,is also focused on important issue by academic circles. In recent ten years, with the historical materials being excavated and further research, academic circles at home have carried out multidimensional exploration around Japanese cognition about Nanking massacre,the textual research and interpretation about the number of victims in Nanking massacre, the report about Nanking massacre of modern news media, oral histories of the Nanking massacre survivors, the way of commemorating about Nanking massacre and so on, which highlights the basic focus and important trends about the study of Nanking massacre in academic circles.
