中国应对气候变化的努力及其社会学意义

Coping with Climate Change:China's Efforts and Their Sociological Significance

人为原因导致的气候变化已经被大多数科学家确认为一种客观事实。但是,不同地区、不同国家、不同文化的不同人群对于气候变化的认知并不均衡。中国政府确认气候变化的客观性,并为缓解和适应气候变化做出了积极的努力,在一些方面取得了进展,但是也面临着一些重要挑战。中国政府应对气候变化的努力,提示社会学家关注中国现代化转型的环境约束,特别是关注应对气候变化的政策设计和实践的社会复杂性,并基于社会学的视角,为改进气候政策的设计和绩效做出应有的贡献。

Anthropogenic climate change is widely accepted as scientific fact by the majority of scientists around the world. However, the awareness of climate change varies among groups of people from different regions, nations, and cuhures. The Chinese government has recognized climate change as a scientific fact and has made greater efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change. It has made progress in some areas, but is also facing some important challenges. The efforts of Chinese government to cope with climate change have prompted sociologists to focus on the environmental constraints of China＇s transition to modernization, with particular attention to the social complexities of the Chinese government＇s policy design and practice in addressing climate change. In addition, with their distinct sociological perspectives, sociologists are making due contributions to improving design and efficacy of climate change policy.
