摘要
泰尔凯是 19世纪数学史家。与同时代抱有“欧洲中心论”偏见的西方学者不同 ,他接受并向西方介绍非西方传统的数学成就 ;与此相类似 ,他也重视女性数学家的成就 ,并为她们树碑立传 ;他重视数学与哲学的结合 ,提倡自然科学与人文科学的融合 ;他也是关怀数学史教育价值的早期数学史家之一。
Olry Terquem is a historian of mathematician in the 19th century.Different from his contemporaries who held Eurocentric view of historiography,he accepted and introduced mathematical contributions of non-western traditions.Similarly,he attached importance to the achievements made by women mathematicians.He also advocated alliance of mathematics and philosophy and thus that of the natural science and humanity and made use of history in mathematics education.This paper concludes that his ideas are foresighted and deserves our further study.
