The early Roman Empire which lasted from the end of the 1st century BC to the 2nd century AD was the most remarkable and active phase of the Romanization in Spanish provinces. Roman rule left a significant mark upon the Spanish history. The collision between and combination of Roman civilization and Celtic-Iberian civilization propelled the Roman-Spain civilization into being in the early empire. The paper is composed of three parts, including nature, essential features and conclusion.
