摘要
英国1960年代的新大学校园规划受到了日常生活理论的深刻影响,校园在功能组织、交通流线、空间形态、建筑风貌上都进行了创新性的探索。其中,埃塞克斯大学校园作为这场建设运动高潮的标志性事件,从规划伊始便受到广泛关注。本文介绍了该校园50年来的规划、建设与更新过程,分析了其社会哲学背景、建筑思潮演变与主要设计策略,以期对我国当前的大学校园规划理论及实践有所裨益。
The campus planning of 1960s＇ New University in the UK has been influenced deeply by the theory of everyday life. There were many innovations in the campus, such as functionalorganization, traffic line, spatial morphology, and architectural style. The foundation of Essex University is a landmark event in the movement. Through the review of the development of the campus in 50 years, this paper aims to analysis the background of the social philosophy, the evolution of the architectural theo- ries, and the strategies of the campus planning.
