The fracture of strain clamp of the ±660 k V Yindong DC Transmission line is introduced.Based on the analysis of the material of the strain clamp,the cause of fracture is found out.The preventive measure are put forward strain clamp fracture for the operation and the construction of UHV and EHV lines.
