摘要
理论物理大师玻恩不但有众多弟子成为优秀的物理学家,还有两名弟子在生物学方面做出了重要贡献,其中一人还曾获得诺贝尔生理学或医学奖。玻恩培育这两位学生的经历说明,伟大的导师,不仅要有一流的专业水准,还要具备洞察学生个性与优缺点的本领,并有极强的责任心。玻恩研究视域宽广,从不作茧自缚、固步自封,艾尔萨色和德尔布吕克能够突破专业限制,成功进入其他领域,并取得卓著成就,这与玻恩等前辈的影响有关,也是他们顺应科学发展趋势的硕果。
