Objective To compare the clinical effect of ureteroscopic lithotripsy and traditional lithotripsy in the treatment of ureteral calculi. Methods A total of 170 cases of ureteral calculi patients were selected from December 2014 to October2016 in the Medical Center Hospital of Qionglai, which were divided into microscopic treatment group and traditional treatment group according to different operation methods,85 cases in each group. Microscopic treatment group was treated with ureteroscopic lithotripsy, traditional treatment group was treated with open lithotripsy. The clinical effect( hospital stays, intraoperatve blood soss, gravel time, drainage tube extraction time, gravel net rate),complications and patients' satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The microscopic treatment group of hospital stays, gravel time, drainage tube extraction time were shorter than traditional treatment group, intraoperatve blood loss was less than traditional treatment group, gravel net rate was higher than traditional treatment group( P〈0. 05). The microscopic treatment group of the rate of complications was lower than traditional treatment group( P〈0. 05),the total satisfaction was higher than traditional treatment group( P〈0. 05).Conclusion Ureteroscopic lithotripsy has a better effect in the treatment of ureteral calculi than traditional lithotripsy,it has a shorter hospital stays, less blood loss, lower complications rate and higher patients' satisfaction.
