针灸治疗良性阵发性位置性眩晕的研究进展

Research progress of acupuncture in treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo

良性阵发性位置性眩晕(BPPV)为最常见的外周性前庭疾病,该病是一种由头位变动所诱发的短暂阵发性发作性眩晕,通常伴有特征性眼震表现。中医无BPPV这一疾病概念,其有关论述散见于"眩晕"、"冒眩"。现代中医运用针灸辅助治疗BPPV形式多样,包括针刺、灸法、穴位贴敷等不同的治疗方法,但通常作为手法复位治疗的辅助治疗措施,以提高总体疗效。本文就针灸治疗BPPV的现状进行了简要评述。

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo （BPPV） is the most common peripheral vestibular disorder. The disease is characterized by repeated attacks of vertigo and typical nystagmus induced by changes in head position. However there was not the term of BPPV in traditional Chinese medicine. BPPV-associated description occurred in the sections titled as ＂xuan yun＂ or ＂mao xuan＂. Acupuncture, moxibustion as well as point application as accessory treatments for repositioning maneuvers have been used in the treatment of BPPV in temporary Chinese medicine, in order to enhance good efficacies. In this review, applications of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of BPPV were described and evaluated.
