Toward the Emergence of Resistance

北京泰康空间TAIKANG SPACE.BEIJING2016.12.30-2017.3.42016年岁末,由四位年轻策展人共同策划的展览“抵抗的涌现”在泰康空间开幕。早在2009年,泰康空间启动“51平方”,2016年初重启两年前发起的“日光亭”,这两个项目均是以发现和支持年轻艺术家创作为首要目的。此次“抵抗的涌现”展首次将新生代策展人的研究与实践也纳入到机构的视野中,展览共展出了十二位年轻艺术家的作品,

＂Toward the Emergence of Resistance,＂ an exhibition co-curated by four young curators, opened at Taikang Space at the end of 2016. Taikang Space had initiated ＂51 m^2＂ in 2009 and reinitiated the two-year-old ＂Light Pavilion＂ in 2016, both projects aimed at discovering and supporting young artists. ＂Toward the Emergence of Resistance＂ marks the first time that the research and practice of a new generation of curators are integrated into the institution＇s vision; Taikang Space did not impose their own preferences on the curators＇ selection process of the twelve young artists on view.
