Optimization of the Method for the Potency Determination of Salinomycin

在近期盐霉素标准品制备过程中发现存在抑菌圈过大的问题,导致其相互粘连无法进行效价测定。通过菌株纯化和更换培养基中琼脂品牌及调整其浓度使抑菌圈直径缩小至兽药典规定的范围内。通过上述优化措施保证了国家标准品赋值的准确性,更为同业人员效价测定遇到类似问题提供借鉴。

During the recent preparation of the reference standard of salinomycin,we found that the diameters of the antibacterial circles were too big so that the potency determination could not be carried out because of their mutual adhesion.Through the strain purification and replacement of the agar in the culture medium and adjustment of the agar concentration,the antibacterial circle diameters were reduced to the scope of the provisions of the veterinary pharmacopoeia.These improvements ensured the accuracy of the assignment of the national standard,and provided the reference for the peers when they meet the same problems during the potency determination.
