Ritual heritage and cultural memory: The Evolution of Cultural Function of Four Sides Drum of Miao Nationality in Guizhou Songtao

运用田野调查、逻辑分析等研究方法,基于民族学、文化人类学、社会学、体育学等学科视角,探讨了四面鼓舞文化功能的嬗变及其动因。研究认为:在经济社会发展、民俗意识觉醒、文化价值认同、教育功能发掘等动因作用下,四面鼓舞在传统仪式功能基础上衍生了民俗娱乐、身体锻炼、表演观赏、文化传承、经济促进等新兴文化功能,这既是对四面鼓舞传统仪式功能的传承,同时也是强化民众对四面鼓舞的文化记忆新路径。

Used the method of field investigation, logical analysis, ethnology, cultural anthropology, sociology, sports science and other disciplines from the perspective of four inspired transmutation and its motive of cultural function. The Research showed that： in the economic and social development, folk consciousness, cultural identity, education function to explore motivation under four inspiration based on traditional ceremony function derived folk entertainment, physical exercise, performances, cultural heritage, promote economic and other new cultural function. This is not only the inheritance of the traditional ritual function of four sides drum, but also the encouraging new path to strengthen public cultural memory.
